By creating a CheapOTP account or buying a number, you agree to these terms. Please read them before you buy.
1. Our service
CheapOTP sells temporary virtual phone numbers that you can use to receive a verification code (OTP) by SMS from a service you choose, in a country you choose. Each purchase gives you one number for one session.
2. Your account
You need an account with an email address, a phone number and a password. We verify your phone with a code sent by SMS. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account. After repeated failed log-in attempts, your account may be locked for a short time.
3. Wallet and payments
Numbers are paid for from your CheapOTP wallet balance. You add funds to your wallet with Paystack; we do not store your card or mobile money details. The price of a number is shown before you confirm your purchase. Wallet deposits are non-refundable, and your balance does not expire.
4. Refunds
If a number cannot be delivered, the order fails, or no code arrives before the session ends, the amount you paid for that number is refunded to your wallet balance automatically. You do not need to request it. Refunds are credited to your wallet, and every change to your balance appears in your wallet activity.
5. Receiving codes
Whether and when a code arrives depends on the service you are verifying with. Keep the number page open while you wait: the code appears there as soon as it is received. Once a session ends, the number can no longer receive a code for that order.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use CheapOTP for anything unlawful, fraudulent or abusive, or to harm or harass others. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of CheapOTP after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
